HANOVER, Md., February 21, 2024 – Allegis Global Solutions (AGS), the leading provider of global workforce solutions, announces that President Steve Schumacher and Vice President of Business Development Maria Boyse have been named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) Staffing 100 North America list for 2024. The list recognizes industry leaders for their impact within their individual organizations and for advancing the overall workforce solutions industry.
“Steve and Maria’s contributions to the workforce industry have created significant opportunity for AGS’ clients, employees and surrounding communities,” said Allegis Group CEO Jay Alvather. “I am excited to see how their commitment to excellence and innovation continue to shape AGS’ growth and impact as the leading workforce solutions provider.”
About the Honorees
With over 25 years of experience in the workforce solutions industry, President Steve Schumacher has been a driving force in evolving AGS’ capabilities for more than a decade. In 2023, he demonstrated his commitment to building workforces designed to harness the human enterprise through key investments in people and technology, including the build-out of the Acumen® Intelligent Workforce Platform, a gateway to curated tools that fuel talent and business intelligence; and the launch of a workforce enablement framework for AGS’ more than 4,000 employees. Schumacher spearheaded AGS’ Run, Grow, Transform approach, which has been integral to defining the quality and operational excellence that earned AGS Leader status on four 2023 Everest Group PEAK Matrix® Assessments. This is the sixth time Schumacher has been named to the SIA Staffing 100 North America list.
Maria Boyse, vice president of North America business development, helped AGS build early success by winning contracts with several Fortune 100 and 500 companies. With a focus on driving new client wins and expanding AGS’ business development capabilities, Boyse led her team to record growth in 2023, winning more than 25 new clients. She has also invested in her team by elevating a training program for new hires, championing cross-selling and upskilling, and refreshing AGS’ value framework methodology. In her 20 years at AGS, her expertise, leadership skills, sense of collaboration and drive for results have made her an invaluable workforce leader. This is the fourth time Boyse has been named to the SIA Staffing 100 North America list. She has also been named SIA’s Global Power 150 Women in Staffing three times.
“In the realm of leadership, greatness is not merely defined by titles, but by the resilience and vision to navigate uncharted waters,” said SIA President Ursula Williams. “To the Staffing 100 North America and Staffing 25 Latin America executives honored for their exceptional contributions, your ability to steer organizations through unprecedented times stands as a testament to your unwavering commitment and remarkable leadership. Each of you have made an extraordinarily positive impact on your organizations, your teams and all the people you serve.”
