Hanover, Md., November 17, 2021 – Allegis Global Solutions (AGS), the leading provider of global workforce solutions, celebrates Kathy Clem, Jenelle Madonna and Shruthi Rao, who were named to the Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list for 2021. This group of trusted leaders was recognized for their lasting impact on AGS and the industry through contributions ranging from advancing inclusion and diversity to scaling business growth in emerging markets and strategizing AGS’ ability to deliver innovative workforce solutions that improve business outcomes for customers.
“I’m thrilled to see Kathy, Jenelle and Shruthi honored for their contribution to the global staffing industry,” said AGS President Chad Lane. “Their commitment to excellence and continuous growth for themselves, their teams and this company have directly impacted our organization’s success and created opportunity and advancement for everyone they’ve inspired throughout their careers. This recognition by SIA further shows that these women are not only integral members of our AGS leadership team, but they are exceptional driving forces in the industry, as well.”
Among the achievements that led to each leader’s recognition on the Global Power 150 list are as follows:
Kathy Clem is a dynamic talent acquisition leader with over 20 years of industry experience. As executive director, North America for AGS’ Global Business Services division, Clem is responsible for MSP and RPO customer implementations, supply chain, digital innovation and modern enterprise solutions to enable client success. Clem’s deep knowledge of human capital management, operational excellence, strategic agility and change management also led her to recently take on a high-priority role leading AGS’ external inclusion and diversity strategy. Known as an influential people leader and passionate about seeing others succeed, she’s a member of AGS’s Executive Inclusion Council and an advocate and champion for initiatives that celebrate differences and empower people to reach their highest potential. Clem serves on the board of Back on My Feet, which combats homelessness through the power of running and workforce development. In 2020, she received AGS’ Community Impact award for outstanding contributions to workforce development.
Jenelle Madonna is a global financial leader known for conceiving and executing mutually beneficial strategies for AGS and its clients. Recently, she’s been a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a steadying force amid significant change. Her support navigating challenging, complex scenarios internally and for clients helped mitigate financial impact to AGS stemming from the pandemic. Madonna was influential in AGS’ new world of work strategy announced in mid-2020 to proactively address the changing desires and needs of clients and the global talent landscape. This strategic shift included building a Global Business Services group that leverages capabilities across products to drive operational efficiencies and additional customer value. With over 17 years of experience, Madonna previously oversaw financial operations for North America and global RPO. When she transitioned into her current role as global executive director of finance, overseeing global MSP and RPO financial operations, she more than doubled the size and scope of her team and responsibilities.
Shruthi Rao is a highly impactful global talent acquisition leader responsible for driving AGS’ growth strategy in India. Rao assumed her role leading business development, solution design and advisory functions in early 2020, and has already added 10 customers to AGS’ regional portfolio with an annual revenue outlook of $10M+. She previously held several influential roles with AGS’ parent company, Allegis Group, and was part of the team that executed the India-entry strategy, set up multiple operating companies and built out global talent acquisition and recruitment delivery centers as alternative delivery models. Additionally, Rao established and grew the implementation and operational excellence functions for AGS’ RPO business. Her impact exceeds bottom-line results. She serves on AGS’ India leadership team and Global Executive Advisory Board and was an early advocate for inclusion and diversity by partnering with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), clients, and internal teams to hire people with disabilities.
“Through the compilation of the 2021 Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list, we see that despite great odds, the women in our industry are actively advocating for equality in the workplace for other women, as well as historically excluded groups, by mentoring and developing training and other programs and partnerships to lift each other up,” said Subadhra Sriram, Editor and Publisher, Media Products at SIA. “The progress may be slow and results yet unseen, but the first steps have been taken. And this is a huge step forward for the ecosystem as we move towards a more inclusive and diverse world of work.”
